Informal Mediation

Most issues are simple misunderstandings. Use the Case Chat to discuss the problem directly with your lawyer.

Admin Escalation

If a deadline is missed or work is substandard, escalate to the getlawyer Resolution Center.

Funds will be frozen in the Secure Wallet until resolved.

Arbitration

For disputes exceeding ₦500,000, an independent third-party arbitrator may be assigned to make a final ruling.

Binding decision based on case evidence.

Refund Policy

Refunds are processed when it is determined that services were not rendered according to the agreed milestones or if there was a major breach of conduct.

  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
  • Supports both USD and NGN.
  • Processing time is typically 5-10 business days.
